Step it down and plié deep. Most dancers rush this foundation move but here's
what nobody tells you. When you transfer weight forward on counts one and two,
that soft prep bounce sets your entire rhythm. Step left, find center with
a gentle attitude arm. Now the real work starts. Demi-plié in second
position, knees tracking over toes, arms low and rounded. Go deeper on seven
and eight, hold that position, feel the burn. This isn't just a warm up,
it's your anchor. Lift to relevé on nine, float those arms to demi-bras,
no ankle wobble allowed. Rise again, elongate your spine, eyes lift with intention.
