David and Goliath: A Story of Faith

A long time ago, there was a young boy named David. He was the youngest of his brothers

and took care of his father’s sheep. David loved God very much and prayed to Him every day.

One day, God told the prophet Samuel to go to David’s family. Samuel anointed

David with oil, which meant God chose him to be the next king. Even though David

was small, God had great plans for him. Soon, a huge giant named

Goliath came to fight the Israelites. Everyone was scared, but David was not. He trusted God to

help him. David picked up his sling and a smooth stone. With God’s help,

he threw the stone and hit Goliath on the forehead. The giant fell down, and David won!
