David and the Five Stones

The day I realized David wasn't supposed to win changed everything for me.

Goliath was a monster covered in bronze armor. Professional soldiers were hiding,

terrified. King Saul offered armor, but David took it off.

He walked out looking like a shepherd. He picked five stones not because

he was nervous, but because Goliath had four brothers. One stone to the forehead,

and the giant fell like a tree. David knew his strengths.

Sometimes the bravest thing you can do is refuse to fight like everyone expects.
