Defending Love for Timeless Anime Characters

Calling someone weird for liking a 16 year old anime character when you're also 16 makes zero

sense. Like bro, we're the same age, what's the problem? And here's the real

kicker. What if I've been a fan of this character for 20 years? She's been frozen

at 16 this whole time. I was literally younger than her when I started watching.

Now I'm supposed to feel weird because she never aged but I did? That's not how any

of this works. These characters aren't real people with real ages. They're drawings

that stay the same forever. Y'all act like there's some moral issue when it's literally

just fiction. Meanwhile the character has existed longer than some of y'all have been alive.
