Demoted for Saying Chickenjoy at McDonald's

I accidentally got myself demoted at McDonald's because of Jollibee. I needed money in

high school so I worked the register at McDonald's. Everything was going fine until this

customer ordered five pieces of chicken. Without thinking, I grabbed the mic and said five Chickenjoy

please. Dead silence. My manager's face went pale. For those who don't

know, Chickenjoy is literally Jollibee's signature item. I basically just

promoted their competitor over our own intercom system. My manager didn't even say anything.
