Devotion in Prayer: A Daily Practice

Ever notice how our prayers fade when life gets busy—but suddenly become intense when trouble

hits? The Bible says - “Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and

thankful.” — Colossians 4:2 Paul doesn’t say pray occasionally—he says devote yourselves.

Prayer isn’t a last resort; it’s a daily posture. To be watchful means spiritually alert—aware

of God’s movement and the enemy’s schemes. To be thankful means we pray from faith,

not fear—remembering what God has already done while trusting Him for what’s next. Prayer keeps our

hearts awake, anchored, and aligned with heaven. Let's pray -

Lord, teach me to be devoted in prayer—not only in need, but in every season.
