When we think about typesetting, we often rely on vertical lines to organize information.
However, using a diagonal line can actually make the layout feel smoother and
more dynamic. This approach is known as **diagonal composition**, where two non-adjacent
corners of the canvas form a diagonal axis. Once connected, this invisible line
divides the image into two areas and helps guide the viewer’s eye. Placing elements
along this diagonal keeps the composition balanced and visually engaging. Since viewers tend
to scan from right to left, a diagonal flow from top to bottom allows them to explore
the entire image naturally, even when there are only a few elements present.
