If dinosaurs never went extinct, mammals would have stayed small and insignificant.
That asteroid impact sixty six million years ago wiped out seventy five percent of all species,
giving mammals the chance to evolve and dominate. Without that catastrophic event,
dinosaurs would still rule the planet. Theropods would have continued evolving, possibly developing
even higher intelligence. Humans would never exist because our mammal ancestors needed that extinction
to thrive and eventually evolve into primates. The world would be completely unrecognizable, with massive sauropods
and intelligent raptors controlling every ecosystem on Earth.
