Diversity in Religious Practices

What is important to understand when talking about Judaism and religion in general is that

in principle EVERYONE lives in different ways. You can talk about Judaism,

Jewish traditions, rites and festivals but that does not mean that all Jews celebrate

them. One can talk about kosher and the 613 rules/commandments which

exist within Judaism but that does not mean that everyone follows them. Same

applies to other religions such as Christianity and Islam.
