False Source The Problem: God intends for believers to seek His will through His Word

(the Bible) and through prayer for wisdom (James 1:5). Turning to a psychic or medium—whether

they are sincere but mistaken, or outright fraudulent—is, at its core, a form of spiritual

infidelity. It seeks a counterfeit light instead of the true one (Isaiah 8:19).

The Effect on God's Plan: It elevates the "whispers and mutters" of a human or a demonic entity

above the clear, trustworthy voice of the Almighty. This immediately hijacks the person's

source of guidance, leading them down a path that is not divinely ordained.
