Don’t Trust Your Best Friend

Two days ago I got a message from the future. It wasn’t long — just one line.

‘Don’t trust your best friend.’ I thought it was a prank. I deleted it and

went to sleep. The next morning, a tiny thing happened — something only we would notice.

A coffee cup moved from my desk to the exact spot where I keep my keys. Then my password

changed itself — not mine, but theirs. By the third day, I found a photo

on my laptop I never took. It showed me — at a place I had never been — standing

beside them. Everything pointed back to that message. So I did the only stupid thing left:
