Dvin's Fall and Ani's Rise

One of the richest cities in the medieval world was swallowed by the earth in a single night.

Back in 893, Dvin was the beating heart of Armenia, a massive Silk Road hub teeming with

over a hundred thousand people. But at midnight on December 28th, the ground literally

cracked open. A massive earthquake leveled the entire metropolis in seconds. We are talking about

grand cathedrals crumbling and tens of thousands of lives lost in a blink.

With the defensive walls down, enemies immediately invaded the ruins to kick them while

they were down. It should have been the end of the kingdom. But here is the crazy part.
