Pepsi. The Soviet Union was broke, but they had a massive problem.
They were addicted to cola. Their money was worthless outside their borders.
They couldn't pay for their favorite sugary drink. So they offered something crazy.
They traded seventeen submarines and three massive warships for soda. Suddenly,
a soft drink company owned one of the most powerful military forces on the planet.
The Pepsi CEO joked to the government: We are disarming the Soviets faster
than you. For a brief moment, the Pepsi navy was larger than
