and convinced the military it was essential for communication. Suddenly, the tower became

untouchable. But here's the twist nobody talks about. During World War One,

French intelligence used that antenna to intercept German messages, leading to the capture

of the infamous spy Mata Hari. The tower didn't just survive because of radio waves.
