Empowering Change for Autism and Learning Disabilities

Hello. My name is Dr Chloe Farahar. I am autistic and I am the project

manager for the Learning Disability and Autism Programme at Kent and Medway Mental Health NHS

Trust. I want to tell you about our work and I want to ask for your help.

Why this matters right now: autistic people and people with a learning disability often

have to reach crisis before they get the help they need from us. We want to change

this. We want to help people earlier. We want to give support close to

home. We want to stop crises before they happen. What we're doing:

our programme has three main areas of work; one, fixing urgent problems that can't wait;
