Energy Transformation in Nature and Soul

A waterfall is a good example from nature. The water at the top has potential

energy because of its height. As it falls, this energy changes into kinetic energy.

When the water hits the bottom, some of this energy turns into heat energy,

making the water slightly warmer. The moving water can also be used to turn a turbine

and produce electricity, showing how energy changes from one form to another. This shows us a

deeper meaning that the soul too is seen as shifting form. Soul is eternal

and cannot be destroyed. So, Physics and the Gita both tell us: “nothing is ever

lost, only transformed.”
