Esther's Courageous Act

The Girl Who Saved Her People Esther was chosen to be queen because she was kind,

wise, and brave. But she also had a secret—she was Jewish.

One day, a man named Haman made a terrible plan to hurt her people.

Esther’s cousin Mordecai begged her: “You must speak to the king!”

But there was a problem: No one was allowed to approach the king without being

invited. If they did… they could be killed. Esther was scared, but she prayed.

Her people prayed too. Finally, she put on her royal clothes,

stood tall, and walked toward the king’s throne. The king looked up… paused… and
