Ethical AI in Medicine

AI in medicine could save millions of lives, but we are building systems on biased

data that repeat historical discrimination. When an algorithm trained on flawed records decides

your treatment, it might work brilliantly for some patients while failing others based on race or

gender. We are automating inequality. Worse, these systems cannot

explain their own decisions. A black box tells your doctor to operate but offers zero

reasoning. That is not evidence based medicine, that is blind obedience to code.

And when it goes wrong, who pays the price? The doctor who trusted the tool or the

engineer who built it? We cannot let human judgment fade because a screen said so.
