Executive Branch: Power and Influence

The executive branch holds the most power because they control the military and easily nominate

members of the Supreme Court. The Legislative branch makes laws, the judicial branch

interprets laws, and the executive branch carries out laws. The president shares

the authority of having control of the military with Congress. However,

while congress does have the power to declare war, the president makes the decisions on

the military operations and troop movements. The details in the evidence support that the president

controls the military as having the power to declare war is not as powerful as having the power

to make decisions on military operations as the president could easily put its own or another
