less like science projects and more like horror movie villains. From the deep
ocean comes Dunkleosteus, a prehistoric fish with bone blades for jaws. No teeth,
just built-in scissors strong enough to slice through armor. From ancient Australia, there is Megalania,
a giant monitor lizard longer than a car. Fast, possibly venomous,
and basically a real-life dragon. From South America comes Titanoboa, a snake over
forty feet long. So heavy it could crush a crocodile before swallowing it whole.
