Your next flight could get canceled. The FAA is about to slash flights by 10% at 40 of
the busiest airports across the U.S. This is all happening because of the government shutdown.
Air traffic controllers are working without pay, creating a massive shortage,
and to cope, the government is just cutting capacity. The proposed list includes almost
every major hub you can think of: Atlanta, Dallas, New York's JFK and
LaGuardia, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Miami. The cuts are expected
to start this Friday and be fully rolled out by next week. So if you have a flight booked,
you need to brace yourself for potential cancellations and serious delays hitting the nation's biggest
