Facebook Introduces Content Protection for Reels

Facebook is finally letting you stop people from stealing your Reels. They just launched

a new "Content Protection" feature that automatically scans Facebook and Instagram for unauthorized re-uploads of your

original videos. If it finds a match, even a partial one, you get an alert. You can then choose

to track the post and get an "original by" credit linking back to you. Or,

you can just block the stolen video entirely, making it disappear from the platform.

This is a massive win for creators and could finally put an end to those annoying aggregator

accounts that just repost everyone's work.
