Faith Measured by Fruit

Jesus warned people not to be impressed by appearances. He did not measure faith

by words spoken, titles held, or outward devotion. He measured it by fruit.

He said plainly: “By their fruit you will recognize them.” Not by intention.

Not by reputation. Not by claims. Fruit, in Jesus’ teaching, was the visible

outcome of what was happening within. A tree does not strain to produce fruit.

It produces what matches its nature. Jesus knew that appearance can be managed.

Fruit cannot. People can perform righteousness. They can speak fluently about faith.

They can look convincing. But fruit reveals direction over time. That is why Jesus warned that
