Feeling Like I Deserved It

I genuinely feel like I deserved the absolute nightmare that happened after my ex caught me

cheating. He found the texts at 3 AM, dragged me into his car,

and dumped me at an abandoned gas station with no phone and just my pajamas.

I was freezing and desperate, so when a random guy offered me a ride,

I actually got in. That was my biggest mistake. He immediately pulled a knife,

assaulted me, and kicked me back out into the dark. The car had no plates. I filed a police

report, but I can’t stop feeling like this was twisted karma for what I did.
