Fiancé Insists on Separate Finances

We're getting married in 4 months and my fiance keeps saying he wants to keep our finances

completely separate. Separate accounts, split bills down the middle no shared anything.

At first I thought it was just about keeping some independence which I actually liked.

But the more we talk about it the more uncomfortable I'm getting. I make $140k and

he makes around $230k. We've been splitting rent 50/50 which honestly stretches

me more than it stretches him. I brought up splitting proportionally once we're married and

he kind of brushed it off saying we're both adults with jobs so it should be equal.
