My panic attacks started during midterms when I couldn't breathe in the library.
I learned that placing one hand on my chest and breathing in for four counts
helps. Holding for four then out for six actually calms your nervous system
Time blocking saved me too. I scheduled everything so my brain could stop spinning.
The turning point was recognizing my warning signs like avoiding friends for days.
Reaching out to campus counseling felt terrifying but it changed everything. Building a support
network with friends and a therapist gave me anchors. Getting help isn't giving up.
It is the bravest thing you can do.
