Dear overthinker, you don't have a broken mind. You just have one that's trying too
hard to keep you safe. Your brain learned that if it could predict every outcome,
it could protect you from disappointment, rejection, or regret. But here's the thing.
You're really not thinking, you are bracing. From a psychological lens,
that's what we call cognitive avoidance. It's when the mind loops around problems because feeling
them feels too dangerous. So instead of feeling anxious, you start to analyze. Instead of admitting
you're hurt, you start to plan. And instead of grieving, you try to solve. But the mind really
cannot fix what the heart hasn't felt, and no amount of replaying,
