Fingers Crossed in the Dark

. Mirror on the wall shows a hollow face. Trying to find

a way out of this lonely place. You pull me in close just

to push me down, and offer me a hand so I won't drown.

Checking every corner for the moons you hide, while the ghost of who I

was is trapped inside. Writing secrets in a book of old,

about a fire that only leaves me cold. Fingers crossed behind the back,

walking through the house while the world goes black. Stuck here in the ruins and

still on the run, looking for a place in the dying sun.
