Finn Learns to Pause

A young rabbit named Finn loved to run. He ran from sunrise to sunset, always in a hurry,

always chasing the next thing. One day, while running through the meadow,

Finn didn’t notice a hidden hole and tumbled in. Shaken and sore, he sat still for

a moment. As he rested, Finn noticed the cool breeze, the scent of flowers,

and the sound of birds guiding him to a safe path out. Finn climbed out slowly and smiled.

If I had paused earlier, he thought, I might have seen the way.From that

day on, Finn still ran but he also paused. Sometimes slowing down keeps you safe.
