Five Years for a Stranger's Soul

I bartered a random guy's soul to the Grim Reaper so I wouldn't die. The Reaper showed

up at my apartment giving me a strict two-day countdown. I did some digging and found an old

librarian who survived by tricking him, but she said I had to invent my own loophole.

So, I picked up a drunk guy at a bar and dragged him home. But instead of sleeping

with him, I laid out a tarp and used a power saw to take his head off.

When Death arrived, I pointed at the bloody mess and said, take his soul instead.

The Reaper stared for a minute and whispered, five years. I told him next

time I’ll get him something way better.
