Flowers from the Grave

My neighbor started leaving flowers on my doorstep every morning. Sweet gesture,

right? Until I noticed they were the exact flowers from the cemetery down the

street. Fresh ones. Daily. I confronted him about it,

and he just smiled and said he thought I'd appreciate them since I visit that grave so often.

But I've never been to that cemetery in my life. I checked the grave he mentioned.

It had my name on it. My birth date. And a death date from next week.

I went back to ask him what kind of sick joke this was, but when I knocked, his door swung open.

The house was completely empty. Not just empty. It looked abandoned for years.
