So if 5:00 AM isn't the answer, what is? First, stop chasing a fixed
wake-up time. Instead, create a fixed start ritual. Not "I wake up at
5:00," but, "When I sit down, I start this." Same desk, same first action
every day. Open the notebook, write the date, start the first question.
It doesn't matter if it's 7:00 AM or 11:00 AM. Your brain learns, "When this happens,
we focus." No motivation required. Second, stop scheduling your day by the
clock. Schedule it by energy. You already know this about yourself. Some hours your
brain is sharp. Some hours it's useless. So why force deep study at 5:00 AM
