Full text from the video
The rain finally stopped in the Fraser Valley but the actual danger is nowhere near over.
We are talking about a massive atmospheric river that dumped one hundred and fifty millimeters
of rain in just twenty-four hours. Abbotsford is officially under a state of emergency with hundreds
of properties evacuated, mostly in Sumas Prairie. Even though the downpour paused,
rivers from Washington state are still swelling and pushing excess water right across the border.
Most highways are shut down and while it’s not catastrophic like 2021 yet, locals are definitely
holding their breath tonight.
