From Car Lunch to New Friend

My two-year streak of eating lunch alone in my car just ended in the wildest way.

I usually hide during breaks to avoid socializing, but today the new girl from design

knocked on my window. I froze, thinking I was in trouble. Instead,

she held out a container of homemade pasta and asked if I wanted to help her finish it so she wouldn't

eat alone. We ended up sitting on the curb debating Cricket highlights for thirty minutes.

She even asked to grab real lunch on Friday to continue the argument. I walked back inside

feeling like I just won the World Cup.
