Fuel Dumping Decision in Halifax Flight

First Officer Lowe, uh, according to transcripts, told- said to Captain Zimmerman,

"I think we should forget about fuel dumping and let's get the aircraft on the ground in

Halifax." And Captain Zimmerman overrode him and said, "No.

We need to dump the fuel." He was concerned about the max landing weight of the aircraft,

and it's true. If you don't dump the fuel and you land in Halifax in that amount of

time, you're probably gonna be overweight and it's gonna be an overweight landing.
