What is the topic you are covering, and how is it defined by sociologists? The topic that I’m

covering is Gender and Sexuality. Sociologists define sex as a person's biological and physical

differences, while gender refers to socially constructed roles, behaviors,

and identities associated with being male or female. What is the history of your topic as

it pertains to the field of sociology? The history of gender and sexuality begins with early work

that reinforced traditional gender roles. Such as women who stay home,

raise the kids, and take care of the house while men go out and work for the money.
