Gene Simmons from KISS spoke to the U.S. Senate to support the American Music

Fairness Act, which would make radio stations pay artists when their music is played.

He said it is unfair that legendary artists like Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra never earned money

from radio airplay, even as stations made billions from advertising. Simmons called this

a long-standing injustice and said musicians deserve to be paid for their work.

He urged lawmakers to finally change the law so artists are treated fairly.
