GIC Common Panel Empanelment and Delisting Rules

The GIC Common Panel is a single nationwide empanelled hospital list managed only by the General Insurance

Council. From 16 May 2025, insurance companies and TPAs can no longer independently

empanel hospitals. All new empanelments are processed exclusively by GIC. Applications received

by insurers up to 15 May 2025 will continue to be processed by the respective insurer under the

earlier process. After 16 May 2025, hospitals must apply by filling Annexure I and emailing a

signed, scanned copy to companycommonpanel@gicouncil.in . GIC will handle

scrutiny, either through a designated insurer or a committee formed by GIC.
