Glass Banana vs Hydraulic Press

Today we test the strength of a perfectly molded glass banana against pure mechanical force.

The top plate lowers slowly, a silent predator approaching its fragile, yellow-tinted prey.

Just millimeters away from impact. The tension in the air is palpable as we

wait. At the moment of contact, the glass begins to scream in

the form of micro-fractures. The structural integrity fails entirely. A beautiful yellow

implosion is about to occur. Total obliteration. The banana is reduced to a

shimmering landscape of yellow and clear glass. Look at the intricate patterns left

behind. There is a strange beauty in this destruction. Another successful experiment.
