Going With God Into the New Year

As the year ends, we stand between what was and what will be. Like Ruth,

we must choose what we will carry into the next season. The Bible says - “Where you go I

will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and

your God my God.” — Ruth 1:16–17 In a world where walking away is easy,

Ruth shows us the power of staying. Year-end is a time of letting go—and a time of deciding

what we will stay committed to. Ruth left behind her past, her comfort,

and her certainty, but she held tightly to God. As this year closes, God is inviting

us to renew our loyalty—not to habits, titles, or seasons, but to Him.
