Gravy on Christmas Day

Hello, family's dad. It's Christmas Day. I'm in hospital. They say I'm

gonna stay. The nurse just brought me jelly and ice cream. But all I

want is gravy on my plated seams. I won't be home to carve

the chook this year. The morphine is good but it can't shift this

fear. Jack's asking mom where daddy's gone. Luke's too little to know something's

wrong. So who-o-o's gonna make the gravy now? Who-o-o's gonna stir

the pot and calm the crowd? Gemma's strong, but she's crying

in the hall. And Mia's still not answering my call. I built that
