Guilt Over House-Sitting Boundaries

and I still feel guilty about it. When I was in college, I worked for a wealthy family as an assistant.

For extra money, they asked me to house sit for them while they were on vacation.

The wife of the family was an insanely kind and generous person. She told me make

yourself at home and I took it way too literally. I am an immigrant from a working class

family. I had never been around wealth before so I kind of went nuts.

They let me sleep in their master suite and it flipped a switch in my brain and I just wanted

to BE them for the weekend. I used all of the wife's fancy shampoo, body lotion,
