Hamlet's Tragic Hesitation

old King is dead, and his brother Claudius has already taken the throne and the Queen.

Prince Hamlet is devastated and actually wishing he could just cease to exist. But then his dad’s

ghost appears on the castle walls with a horror story. He wasn't sick; Claudius poured

poison in his ear. The ghost demands blood. Hamlet promises revenge,

but there is a twist. He is an overthinker, not a killer, setting the stage for a tragedy caused

entirely by hesitation.
