Well, the summer came in swinging with the heat turned up too high.

Fires on the ranges, smoke crawling across the sky. Folks in towns

were packing bags, hoping for a break. But Aussies pull together

when there's too much on the plate. Then the storms rolled in behind

it, flooding rivers wide. From Queensland down to Vic, we watched the

water rise. Neighbours helping neighbours, boats tied to the rail. It's the kind

of year that tests you, but we're built to never fail. So happy new
