Holding Liminal Memory

I am a liminal being, and like most liminal beings, I was taught to mask.

I was taught to try to play human. I was taught that I was somehow wrong. And yet,

my liminality is my beauty. My liminality is my passion. My liminality is

my love. I am part human, and I am part many other things as well.

I believe we all are. There are just those who remember more. And there are some

days when I fear how much memory I hold. It feels like it will come through

the cracks. It will break apart that which holds me together. And yet,
