Hope in Brokenness

It didn't mean the hurt disappeared overnight, but it did mean I wasn't alone.

God's compassion met me in my brokenness. He didn't turn away from me because I was struggling

or because my life didn't look like I thought it should. Instead, he offered me a

fresh start over and over again. Now when I read those verses, I see a promise.

I see hope. No matter how much I mess up, no matter how much I lose,

God's love is bigger. His faithfulness doesn't depend on my circumstances, and that's what

got me through. That's what gets me through every day.
