Hope in Times of Grief

Narrator: A young Muslim boy sits on the ground, his face covered in tears.

His family has just passed away in a house fire. In his sadness, he feels all alone.

A kind Muslim man notices him and walks over. Man: “My son, why are you crying

so much?” Boy: “My family… they all died in the fire. I have no one left.”

Narrator: The man sits beside the boy, placing a comforting hand on his shoulder.

Man: “This is very hard, I know. But remember, Allah tells us in

the Qur’an: ‘Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we will return.’ (2:156)”
