Horrors of Plastic Pollution Worldwide

So, I, uh, was part of an expedition where we found,

for the first time, microplastics in freshly fallen snow in Antarctica. Uh,

I retrieved fish aggregating devices, stolen them from fishing vessels, uh,

so they're kind of floating masses of plastic often in the Indian Ocean. Um,

I, uh, took Hugh Fearnley-Whittington to a jungle in Malaysia where we managed

to find plastic waste produced in the UK that was being e- exported there and illegally

burnt. So, a whole range of- of different things over the last few
