A microwave oven works by using electromagnetic waves called microwaves to heat food.
Inside the microwave, a component called a magnetron produces these microwaves. The microwaves travel
through a waveguide and enter the cooking chamber, where they bounce off the metal
walls. These microwaves cause water molecules in the food to vibrate rapidly.
As the molecules move faster, they produce heat, which cooks the food evenly from
the inside. The rotating turntable helps distribute the heat uniformly. Unlike traditional ovens,
microwaves heat food quickly and efficiently without making the container hot. This is how
a microwave oven makes cooking fast, easy, and energy efficient
