Why does everything fall down? It’s not just because. It’s because of an invisible force
that warps space itself. It’s called gravity. Gravity is what keeps your feet
on the ground and the planets in orbit. But it’s not a pull, like a rope. It’s more like a
giant, invisible trampoline. Imagine space is that trampoline. The Earth is a heavy
bowling ball sitting in the middle. The bowling ball makes the trampoline dip and curve.
That curve is gravity. When you roll a marble (that’s the Moon) near the bowling ball (that’s the
Earth), it doesn't get pulled. It just rolls down the curve the bowling ball made.
That rolling is what we call orbiting. Fun Fact: Gravity is the weakest of the four fundamental
